Living the American Dream: A Conversation with Dr. Alveda King

Join us for the next installment of the Living the American Dream series with Dr. Alveda C. King, daughter of civil rights activist A.D. King, niece of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, and Chair of American Dream at the America First Policy Institute.

Pete Mundo, host of KCMO Talk Radio, will be the Master of Ceremonies. Dr. King will discuss faith, family, civil rights legacy, and the principles that sustain the American dream.  This is an opportunity to hear from a leader with deep roots in the civil rights movement and a contemporary voice in national policy and media.

The event is organized by the Kansas Black Republican Council, the Kansas Federation of Republican Women, the Republican National Hispanic Assembly of Kansas, and the Northwest Johnson County Republican Party.
